Shawnee Hills is a village of about 835 residents (2020 census) in Concord Township, Delaware County, sitting on the west side of the O'Shaughnessy Reservoir on the Scioto River. It began life in the 1920s as a group of platted subdivisions — collectively totaling over 3,600 lots — sold as a resort fishing community, and it retains some of that lakeside-getaway character today even though it's now a year-round residential village. Notably, Shawnee Hills is part of the Dublin City School District, which tells you how close it actually sits to the northwest Columbus suburbs despite technically being in Delaware County — it's a much shorter drive to Dublin or Powell than to the city of Delaware itself.
