Senior Care in Pataskala, Ohio
A Licking County city that quadrupled in size overnight when it merged with its surrounding township in 1996.
Pataskala sits in western Licking County along the US-40 National Road and I-70 corridor, east of New Albany and Reynoldsburg. It was a small village until 1996, when it merged with the surrounding Lima Township, instantly and substantially increasing both its population and geographic footprint. That merged city has kept growing since: the 2020 census counted 17,886 residents, with recent estimates near 19,000, driven largely by warehouse and logistics development along the SR-310 and I-70 corridor as well as new residential subdivisions extending the Columbus suburbs eastward.

Countywide, the Licking County Aging Program covers Pataskala the same way it covers the rest of Licking County — home-delivered meals, transportation to medical appointments, and in-home personal care for residents 60 and older, run out of Heritage Hall Senior Center in Newark.
